How to install Windows 7 on a UEFI BIOS
After spending the last 2 evenings looking for a solution (not full time), I've found the following two links very useful.
The first one resume the operation required to configure the USB BOOT DISK to support UEFI BIOS.
The second describes how to use DISKPART for convert your HDD/SDD to GPT for compatibility with UEFI BIOS.

As described be sure to use SHIFT+F10 to open a command prompt, navigate to X:\Windows\Panther and open Setupact.log in Notepad and search for BIOS or UEFI to check what version setup is running with.
Cheers,
Pascal
